Artwork
We require high quality, electronic vector-based artwork. Some pre-screened / pre-tinted artwork, halftones, thin lines, small copy and reverses may not reproduce as submitted and may need to be altered to imprint clearly. Files can be submitted electronically or on 3.5” disk, 100 or 250 Zip disk or CD.
Layout
Please provide a detailed layout indicating imprint location, orientation, copy positioning, typeface and typestyle (caps, bold, italics, type size, etc.). If size and/or position are not specified Marketing Innovations will use our discretion.

- Digital art can be sent to sales@crpromos.com
- Must meet all the requirements for digital artwork files
- We recommend compressing files over 1MB using Winzip
- Must include company or contact name & phone number
Multicolor Imprints
All multi-color imprints must be provided camera-ready and color-separated with a composite or incur art charges. Industry standard is 1/16" movement in any direction.
Artwork Charges
Our factory reserves the right to determine acceptable art. Art Department time is billed at $50/ hour. A charge will likely result when you submit: faxes, photo copies, actual products, images from the web, newspaper ads, business cards, stationery, napkins, patches or anything else that is determined to be unacceptable. Changes to proofs are billed at $20.
Use of Logos
The purchaser must indemnify Marketing Innovations of any liability arising out of or relating to any actual or alleged infringement of trademark, copyright, service mark, etc.
Digital Artwork Files - Acceptable Programs & Requirements:
- ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR: Any version, Mac or PC
- ADOBE PHOTOSHOP: Tiff or pict files, scanned or created at 1200 dpi for black and white bitmap images or 300 dip for gray scale images. Please submit artwork at the actual size of the imprint area.
- FREEHAND: Any version, Mac or PC
- COREL DRAW: Using the export function , select Adobe Illustrator “.ai” format and select the “convert to curves” option (placed/imported images do not convert).
- QUARK XPRESS: EPS, pict or tiff placed images must be included as separate linked files and not embedded.
Unacceptable Programs & Requirements
We do not accept page layout programs such as MS Word or Pagemaker. File formats such as .doc, .pub, .vcf, .dxf, .exe and .dat are unacceptable.
Canceled Orders
Canceled orders are subject to a 15% restocking charge if canceled before your order is decorated. Orders in progress cannot be canceled.
Company Stores
We offer online company stores that enable employees, customers and branch offices to quickly and easily purchase your imprinted merchandise online. Company stores are an effective solution to motivate employees and customers while managing your brand merchandise in a single location.
Exact Quantities
Due to the difficulty in manufacturing exact quantities of some products, industry standards allow for 5-10% overrun/under run. We will make every effort to minimize overruns and under runs, however the purchaser agrees to be billed accordingly.
Lead Time
Standard lead-time for decorated apparel is approximately 10 working days. Lead times for promotional products vary from 3 days to 15 days depending on the product you select. Please phone us for assistance to avoid missing your event date.
Less Than Minimum Orders
All of our products carry minimum order quantities, however sometimes it is possible to purchase less than the stated minimum catalog quantity. Typically this is one-half the minimum catalog quantity, plus $50.00.
Payment Terms
We accept cash, personal checks, Visa, Master Card and Discover. Corporate accounts with approved credit may purchase according to credit terms established.
Returns
We guarantee our products free from defects in workmanship. In the unlikely event you should receive damaged, mis-printed or non-working merchandise, please contact us within 15 days of receipt so we can correct the problem.
